The String Cheese Incident was in the middle of their 2001 coast-to-coast summer tour when they pulled into Las Vegas for the band’s first ever, “Sin City Incidents”. Touring in support of the band’s new studio album, “Outside Inside”, and a couple of days after the live Austin City Limits TV taping, the band settled into the Aladdin Theatre for two incredible late-night Incidents. Following Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, the band took the stage each night at around midnight. It was obvious, from the opening notes of the first sets, that these shows were truly special. The band has been back to Las Vegas several times since these 2001 Incidents, but there is a special magic in these two shows that we hope to have captured in Rhythm of the Road, Vol 2. Enjoy!
